What is Pass Plus

The Pass Plus scheme was designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. It is aimed at newly qualified drivers and should be taken within the first year after passing the Driving Test.

Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years after passing their test - this is invariably because of their lack of driving experience. The Pass Plus Course builds on your skills and knowledge and will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards - thus helping you to become a more confident driver.

The Pass Plus Course

The course lasts 6 hours minimum and covers the 6 modules listed below. We will ensure that you reach the required standard and at the end, we will apply for your Pass Plus Certificate which will enable you to claim your insurance discount from participating insurers.
